La Rose de France -
Restaurant Français ParisI'll never forget their Tarte Tatin!
Cuisine : Excellent / Accueil : Excellent / Décor : Très Bien
Me and my wife spent last weekend in Paris, and decided ours would be a gastronomique tour too, so when we visited Notre Dame, I had in mind one or two restaurants, and one of them was La Rose de France.
My travel guide said the restaurant was closed on saturday, happily they were wrong!
We found everything was delicious, maybe they were a little bit slow serving, but just for us tourist, always in a rush!
We were placed in a small table just beside the door, so my only complaint is that it was too cold to be comfortable there, as they kept the door open all the time (they had a lot of people in the terrace).
Everyone was very kind and considerate, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
And the star of our lunch was their Tarte Tatin, just delicious, the best I ever tasted in Paris! :) I had to give it to my wife, and eat her crème brûlée -I prefere our crema catalana without a doubt, desolé :)-
Prices a little bit high, but that's a classic in Paris.
We chose the 35 eur. menu.
Je n'oblierai jamais notre weekend romantique à Paris, vous avez une ville admirable et monumental, et la cuisine française est superbe! Dix points pour la Rose de France et sa situation!
Salutacions de Barcelone!
